Best-selling liberal journalist exposes an amateur in the White House
When a
liberal media person writes a book about the man in the White House being a
total amateur, we know things are bad. This is a must read for every American
citizen before voting in November 2012.
Ed Klein is
author of The Amateur: Barack Obama in the White House (Regnery,
May 2012). It has spent 12 weeks between #1 and #10 on the New York Times Best Seller
List.
Klein isn’t
a lightweight who can be considered a crazy conservative. His credentials are liberal,
or as we say "mainstream."
He is former
editor-in-chief of New York Times Magazine, former foreign editor of Newsweek
and a contributing editor to Vanity Fair; publications known for most often
taking liberal political and social views.
Claiming
Obama as an amateur politician and inadequate president, Klein cites incidents
and quotes from over 200 people including administration insiders, media
moguls, Hollywood figures and prominent political families, like Oprah Winfrey
and the Kennedys. None of these people have claimed being misquoted.
As a
reporter observing the administration, Klein states Obama is an incompetent
manager who re-uses bad economic policies and blames everything on anyone who
disagrees with him (pp.2-3).
Obama's own
physician, a man known for far-left ideas about benefits of socialized
medicine, stated he doesn't see the president's health care plan working; that
what has become known as “Obamacare” lacks any cost control guide and is
destined to fail (p. 16).
A man who
once hired Obama as a lawyer for his firm has said there was nothing in his
experience to qualify him for the position of president (p.22).
One witness
to Obama’s time in the Illinois Senate stated he hardly ever showed up, had no
interest in government and just wanted to make speeches (pp.23-24). Another says
Obama (was) blinded by his own ambition (p.28).
Klein indicates
Obama was so close to Reverend Jeremiah Wright that he began talking in the
same manner and using Wright’s tactics in speeches. Wright's ideals contain
Marxist theology and redistribution of wealth to poor people (pp.35-37).
Obama
denounces rich people as an evil of our society. Yet, Obama's net worth is
quoted at approximately 10.5 million (p.41). Michelle Obama once had a job at
the University of Chicago Medical Center making $317,000 a year – a job she got
through the guy who processed the Obama home mortgage, a house worth around
$1.3 million (p.117).
Throughout
the book, words like arrogance, superiority, and fails to correct mistakes are
used to describe Obama – same traits the Democrats attributed to President George
W. Bush during the Iraq War.
It's said Obama
can't stand long periods of contact with small groups outside of his own
immediate circle (p.82), and that his far-left job policies endanger American
workers (p.83).
Klein states
by Fall 2011, many liberal Americans voiced being disillusioned with President
Obama (p.67); that he’s a great campaigner but can’t govern (p.71). The
President lost 20 million TV viewers between his 2009 and 2012 State of the
Union addresses (p.81).
Israeli
Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is captioned under a photo as being appalled
by Obama’s amateur ways of handling negotiations. And on page p.163, it’s
stated Obama admits Rahm Emanuel must explain Israeli politics to him.
Obama was
overheard saying the economy isn’t that bad and that the GOP should stop
complaining (p.131). This is believable, in light of his more recent "The private sector is doing fine" statement (realclearpolitics.com 6/8/12),
blaming governors and mayors for state and local cuts while touting federal
jobs he’s created somewhere.
Klein
confirms that, while Obama spokesperson David Axelrod accuses the
Republican-run House of doing nothing, their hands are tied in such matters (p.251).
Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid hasn’t allowed a Republican jobs bill to come
up for a vote in the Senate for three years.
Reporters
traveling with Obama for various magazines state that the president often
downgrades American values (p.203) and denies that America should be called a “superpower”
(p.204).
I ask you,
what other world leader goes around telling people their own country isn’t the
best?
Klein reveals
that the Justice Department was ordered by Obama to stop mentioning “extreme
Islamic terrorism” and to only say that members of Al Qaeda are "murderers
with an agenda" (p.212).
Klein
concludes that the GOP candidate (Romney was not yet verified prior to
publication) not only has to run against Obama but against the "mainstream
media" who is in love with the president (p.230) – and they are in love
with him even though he was never properly vetted by same media (240).
Update: Since writing this post, I've discovered three more books breaking negative insider news about Obama. One from two investigative journalists; one from a political analyst; and one from an ex-liberal financial banking insider who admits being blinded by Obama's bright promise for "change" in 2008 -- but not any more:
Fool Me Twice: Obama's Shocking Plans for the Next Four Years, Klein/Elliot.
Obama's America: Unmaking the American Dream, D'Souza.
USA: Unaware, Scared and Angry, Smeltz.
It's time to Pray for America, that whether President Obama or Governor Romney gets elected, both men will be endowed with God's Truth, along with us, and do the right thing.
The writer of this post is not connected with, or compensated by, the authors or sellers of these books.

Whew! This is an interesting look at what we have been facing since 2009 and may continue to face for another four years. Thank you for sharing this with your readers.
I'm not sold on Romney, but I know we can't afford another term with Obama. I also know the One who holds all things and works them according to His perfect will. Definitely a reminder to get back on my knees.
Thanks for your input, quiet & JM!
Interesting given who this is coming from. Had a conservative written this, it would have been dismissed by most in the media.
Thanks, Adam -- the "mainstream" media is STILL trying to dismiss him or at least ignore him!
